Character Bio: The loving matriarch of the family who shares a deep, protective bond with her teenage granddaughters. She is currently experiencing the confusing and frightening early stages of Alzheimer’s disease. Emotional Qualities: Actors must be able to portray a complex mix of warmth, vulnerability, and sudden moments of disorientation or cognitive struggle. Looking for a highly grounded, subtle dramatic performance that avoids melodrama. Key Scenes: Will feature prominently in a family graduation party scene, as well as a voice over phone conversation. Technical Requirement: Must have strong vocal range and clarity, as the role requires performing an emotional voice-over for a critical phone conversation scene.
